arghh.im soo frustrated.ive injured my knee doing a 6k run.pathetique.really pissed off cuz its an old injury that keeps recurring.after a 2 month hiatus of not running at all and barely exercising,i decided it was about time i got my form back and went for a run yesterday.Felt really gross and unfit at first but as always after the initial struggle,the endorphins kicked in.it was exhilarating:)started running from home to holland at 9pm after work.haha surprisingly there were quite alot of pple out there running at this time oso.but anyway.after the run,i felt so hyped and my body felt as though it had been detoxed of 2 months of accumulated fats(probably not the case but it felt that way haha) that i decided id wake up at 6am the next day to run before work.And i did!although my knee was bothering me from last night's run alrdy..but i dismissed it as my knees not being used to the high impact after not running for so long.
well anyway,woke up this morning to run and about half way through my knee started throbbing like nobody's business.sighh.i tried to carry on running but it got really bad after awhile that i had to abandon the route.sighh.this sucks.after getting the enthusiam back this has to happen.im gonna try running again in the morning tomm and see how it goes.hate this handicapped feeling argh.
i dunno if i should continue working at aia..today the afternoon shift just seemed to drag on and the day seemed like itwould never end.i hate being cooped up in an office the entire day,and my space in the office is not even a proper desk..its a computer terminal in a small claustrophobic corner.papers keep falling off the table and the computer keyboard's fallen off a couple of times cuz theres just too many things on the table!my back's facing everyone,but my place is pretty conspicuos so that means i cant see anyone,but everyone can see what im doing.which means,even though my com is one of the few that has internet access,i cant make use of that cuz the entire office can see what im doing.bah.
hahah its not all that bad la..im just in one of those complaining moods today.But alot of the temps have left alrdy so its not as fun as before.thank goodness for queen b and derick there to entertain me haha.they make work fun.but of course,the other two are oso entertaining in their own way eh queen b?hahaha.aii
im pretty much in a dilemma now.And im sick of shrek the evil ogress (also known as sarefa my supervisor) going "reeeeena" so loudly such that the entire office can hear,in that complaining voice of hers.arghh.and she CANNOT pronounce my name to save her life.
i think i need a break.cant wait for shanghai and maybe bangkok too!i need avacation!
